Party Trick
Naia pulled herself out of the pool in a hurry. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, aside from the unusual sight of her wearing a noseclip. Her drippy mane trailed behind her and clung to her face, making her look like some sopping-wet chiseled monster crawling out of a swamp.
She didn't say a word as she passed by Lily and Mira -- she simply waved hello at them as she borrowed one of their towels to dry off her face (and at least some of her big mane). Mira looked curious about her, but not enough to go prodding Naia about it; Lily, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow as she spotted a slight quiver around the Zoroark's wet chest. Naia tried not to make eye contact, and wandered off at jogging speed.
"Hmph..." The Zoroark let out an annoyed little grunt, hints of her deep, raspy voice audible even through the closed lips. She had to stop herself for a moment and shake her head a little, blinking hard to keep herself awake and steady. She rubbed her face and shook her handpaws as her grumpy demeanor left her with a full-on grimace, her snout scrunched up like she was about to bite something, or someone. Yet, she chose to stay quiet and keep her mouth shut.
The poor Dragonite running the bar had no idea what to make of this wordless, dripping creature, or why she was staring at them so intently, but at least they understood her rushed gestures just fine. It also helped that she asked for something simple: an ice-cold margarita with some extra salt and Sitrus Berry juice, bound to give her a spring in her step. As the Dragonite prepared the fresh drink in front of her, though, they couldn't help but notice her shuddering and struggling to stay awake, gripping the table so hard her claws left marks on its edges once she stood back up. She nabbed the drink the instant it was done, and wobbled away...
It was around the time Lily saw Naia lumbering back to a nearby chair that she started putting two and two together. Whatever questions she had in mind would have to wait, though, once she saw the Zoroark beckoning her to come grab her drink; her legs were shaking. and she refused to spill a single drop of such a tasty brew!
Lily rushed to her side and nabbed the drink off Naia's hands, passing it over to Mira. As soon as she did, Naia crumpled to her knees and woozily leaned forward, before swiftly willing herself back to her feet with a noisy grunt.
The Floatzel tapped Naia's belly and asked: "Alright, how many drinks you got in there?"
Naia shook her head and made a zero with her paw, then shoved Lily out of the way. She sure seemed... a bit out of it. But maybe drunkenness wasn't to blame here. While she wobbled and stomped her way to a nearby chair, Lily took a closer look at the Zoroark's body. She seemed... oddly heavy, which was unusual. What seemed a lot more typical for Naia, though, were the heaves and strained noises that now began to squeeze out past her pursed lips.
Lily sighed, but she couldn't contain her smile still. She followed Naia closely, keeping her steady so she wouldn't slump over and land on the poolside floor with a thud. By the time Naia sat down and leaned back, it was so easy to see a deep red-to-purple blush forming on her face, as well as the familiar sight of her chest pumping in and out.
"Ah..." Lily whispered as she pulled up her own chair real close. "You're doing this ol' trick again, eh? Heehee..."
Naia scoffed, and tried real hard not to grin, avoiding even the tiniest gap of air to slip in. ...For whoever happened to pass by, it appeared like she was drooling quite a bit. "You mind if I watch~?" added Lily, a little flirtier than expected.
Naia nodded. She fidgeted in her seat, already having lost all control of her heaves.
"Can Mira watch too?" Lily asked as well. "I don't think she's seen you do this one before, hehehe."
Naia nodded again; this made her very visibly eager to show off even more...
Lily beckoned to her girlfriend, and the curious Braixen hopped on over, sitting next to the Floatzel to see whatever the hell Naia was trying to do here. Even for someone so easily flustered, though, Mira had a hard time telling what was so different about this breathhold in particular. That is, until Lily gently held Mira's paw, guided it and assisted in pressing it against Naia's chest.
...Something definitely felt different about it. Naia showed a smirk, and drooled plenty more, also placing a hand atop Mira and Lily's, and pressing harder, in and out, all around where her lungs.
Lungs that were full of something, and it sure didn't feel like air.
Once Mira realized it, her face turned deep-red and all the fur on her body floofed up. Naia, meanwhile, felt like she was nearing her limit, sky-high as it may be. The Zoroark rubbed her thighs together and unfocused her gaze, already so starved of air she was getting woozy and uncoordinated. Her grunts got louder, harsher, and every time her chest heaved she sputtered out drops of water through clenched fangs.
In her low-oxygen daze, Naia had enough sheer force of will to look at Lily and make a gesture at her own neck, signaling something that the Floatzel understood quickly.
Making sure Mira got a full view of it, Lily helped Naia sit back up and held her head steady, then removed the Zoroark's noseclip... And pressed hard against her puffed-up chest. Immediately, a steady stream of water poured out of Naia's maw -- as much of it as she could feasibly fit in those big, resilient, and exhausted lungs. Just as quickly, Naia drew in a wet, raspy breath; only some of it got in before a fierce coughing fit took over.
Naia kept her eyes shut, focused on getting used to a much lighter load in her airways, but once she regained her senses enough she locked eyes with Mira and showed a toothy smile, mid-coughs and all. It was a brutal cough-to-gasp ratio, but the Zoroark could handle it just fine despite how grueling it looked. Lily kept herself busy wiping wet fur off Naia's face, while Mira adjusted the lower half of her bikini to hide her Excitement.
Naia must've had that double-lungful of water in there for seven or eight minutes. "H... H-How's that--?" The Zoroark growled, arms and legs shaking hard. "Cool party trick, huh?" Mira covered her face with her big fluffy ears, but she sure seemed to agree: it is a cool trick.
"Ya wanna see it again? Ghh, h-hahah..." Naia cleared her throat and rubbed her chest; it took immense training and concentration to do this, let alone be so sneaky about it that no one would even notice. Offering to do it multiple times, though... Only Naia could push herself that far, a thought that made her mind race every time she managed to do it.
Mira let out a giggle and squeezed her girlfriend tight. "A-Again, yeah..."
"Maybe later, after you finish your drink, alright?" Lily couldn't help but be the responsible one, though she also wanted to be sure Naia could enjoy her margarita while it was still cold.
Naia leaned back onto her seat and chuckled. "Yeah, yeah... Down the gullet it goes."
As she picked up her drink and began to sip it, though, Lily gripped her wrist and stared hard. "Hey. That drink goes to your stomach, alright?"
...Caught. Naia sighed and rolled her eyes before sipping away, making sure to drink it, not breathe it.
She did, however, leave a little bit for later.
